Jim Crowley has been in the outdoors industry for almost 3 decades. Starting back in the early 90’s as a successful local and regional tournament angler, Jim was asked to start appearing on numerous local television shows, eventually becoming one of the hosts for Midwest Outdoors Magazine. After winning two readers’ choice awards for his monthly column in MWO and being interviewed for numerous publications including the Chicago Sun Times, The Chicago Tribune, Fishing Facts and In-Fisherman magazine, Jim started his own internet show, Hook & Hunt TV, which ran for 11 years. Around the same time Jim was asked to be co-host of Hook & Hunt radio which ran in the Burlington Iowa area for 9 years.
Now, as the host for Jim Crowley Outdoors, his new venture will air on the Wired2fish TV network exclusively in 2022. His podcast, SlickFish Radio is on the stream yard platform and goes LIVE on Facebook & YouTube every two weeks as well as being available on iTunes, Spotify and Amazon music. This fun and exciting format features industry professionals in a Live interaction with Jim and the audience. Before the virus of 2020 Jim was giving an average of 50 seminars a season including as the main speaker for the All Canada shows and various other outdoor shows. Jim has also conducted numerous seminars for both high school and college anglers including working with Scheels (Springfield, Illinois) on a new program for these anglers in 2022.
